Hi, I’m Taichi, random Japanese guy. Big fan of Motorsports.
I major in Mechanical Engineering and have been learning lots of things for the past 5+ years.
I lived in Manchester for a year in 2016 to improve my English skills, and to watch F1 British GP of course. I’ve visited a few race tracks in the UK too, such as Oulton Park, Donington and Brands Hatch.
I’m moving to the UK in 2020 to go to university. My major will be MEng Motorsport Engineering.
At the moment, I’m working on my graduation thesis; I’m not allowed to publish the detail, so I’ll just say it’s something related to CFD (ANSYS Fluent and Polyflow).
I’m a founder of Taichi Sim Racing Wheels.
One of my biggest hobbies is sim-racing. I’m a member of Speedy Mite Racing and I raced LMP3 in VEC (rfactor2’s official endurance championship) in 2018-2019 season. For 2019-2020 season, I’m sharing LMP2.
I like solo travelling. I’ve been to the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Australia and Honk Kong. Finding hotel room, cheapest flight and places to visit, all of these build up my excitement. I especially love Finland. Not quite sure why, because of Moomin and the cold temperature maybe.
I do play the guitar, but not recently. I used to a bit of DTM (Desktop Music) before.
